Wood, Fabric, Cushions. 2014
We walk through a city and see an object which grabs hold of our memory. We don't know why or how, but it becomes the emblem of our entire time spent in this place. In a Proustian manner, a color or a sight or a touch takes over and unleashes our entire recollection of an instance.
These pieces are an attempt to materialize these emblematic objects that become triggers of our memory.
At the same time, we are invited to discover how a seemingly small change turns an ordinary object to a portal for the imagination. By releasing any particular object beyond its usual confines, it becomes space that we can step into and engage with.
